Our Sentimental Journey candle is a soft blend of wild honeysuckle, daisy, and clementine. It’s named after Mom’s favorite song and reflects her signature fragrance, White Shoulders.

The lyrics reminded her of the family she and Dad built: “Seven, that’s the time we leave at seven, I’ll be waiting up for heaven, counting every mile of railroad track that takes me back…” They had seven children, and I’m the seventh, the one who broke up their Brady Bunch family of three girls and three boys. Think 'Oliver' from that early ’70s sitcom, and you’ll understand.

Another line, “Never thought my heart could be so yearning,” speaks to the longing that comes with looking back on life’s journey.

While the fragrance brings me back to Mom, honeysuckle also reminds me of my own children and how quickly those years passed. I remember little league bleachers near bunches of honeysuckle. Its scent would drift by as one son played on the field, another collected bugs, while my youngest squirmed on my lap. Even now, in late spring, pockets of honeysuckle still linger along the paths in our yard ...a soft, nostalgic reminder of it all.

Soy based candles do not use chemicals to enhance their fragrance strength, our scent rating for this candle (but to each his own) is: Medium

Cricklewood Gardens' natural soy wax candles are hand-poured and made in the USA. Did you know natural soy burns about 95% cleaner than petroleum based paraffin wax candles?  Though paraffin might be easier to work with, we feel crafting our candles from vegetable based, non-toxic and renewable resources is the better choice. Be sure to follow our first burn guidelines for a long, smooth burn.  

Subject to local supplier availability, our signature 11oz jar colors will vary from; white, black, champagne, rose gold or amber. Some varieties may also use cobalt blue glass jars. The Libbey containers used to pour our 11oz candles are typically 🇺🇸 Made in the USA.

Product availability will reflect current stock and is updated regularly. We endeavor to ship all in stock items within 24-48 business hours. From product ready date, we offer USPS shipping to the contiguous United States, at this time. If expedited shipping is required, contact Cricklewood prior to order for a quote. If we can meet your timeline, we'll accommodate. 

For customized orders, ready date will be discussed and agreed between Cricklewood Gardens and purchaser, prior to invoicing. 

Shipping period: Products ship via USPS ground or priority mail, Monday - Friday, year round excluding weekends, holidays and any closure periods as specified on website. 

Candle shipping: Due to heat sensitivity and potential for product damage during transit in warmer months or states, Cricklewood is unable to ship candles during the following period: May 15th - September 15th. Need a candle order during this period? Contact inquiries@cricklewoodgardens.net. 

Packaging: Cricklewood packs and braces each order with the utmost care often utilizing recycled boxes and packing materials to minimize our carbon footprint.
